Referral source - adwords

Hi,

I'm sure this is a stupid question/has a blindingly obvious answer - i've had a couple of orders in the last couple of days where is shows the referral source is 'adwords'.

What is adwords? I did a quick google but only came up with google ads?

That means the customer recently came to the website as a result of clicking on one of our google ads. Brick Owl reinvests some of the commission payments into ads to increase sales for stores.

I did wonder if it was something along those lines but couldn't quite get my head around how it could possibly work!
