Change shipping method after order is paid

I just had a buyer who accidentally chose local pickup for his order, but he actually wanted his order shipped. I see in the order page that I can edit the shipping method, but this does not update the shipping cost. Is there a way to update the shipping cost and send the buyer an invoice for the additional shipping cost? Or should I just ask the buyer to do a manual Paypal transfer for the shipping cost?

    @paulvdb I assume your buyer paid the order with Paypal? Search his payment, select his email and send an invoice for shipping straight from Paypal ('request a payment' method from within PP and refer in your comments to the original PP transaction ID), update the shipping method on BO and case closed... It's IMHO not really relevant the total order cost is updated in BO ;-)
